Spearhead Security, LLC provides businesses and individuals with reliable security services. Our team of fully trained and accredited private security officers are available for Fixed Post or Mobile Patrols. We provide services ranging from Unarmed Guards to Armed Guards to Off Duty Police Officers depending on the needs of our clients.

All of our guards are certified by the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies. Their training includes Emergency Response Protocols, Firearms Training, Observation Techniques, Conflict Resolution, First Aid, Laws of Arrest, Customer Relations, and Report Writing.

The Owners

After 25 years in Corporate America, Gene Summers joined up with JT Summers to form a dynamic tandem as the heads of Spearhead Security, LLC.   Gene wasmost recently with Johnson Controls where he directed the National Lighting Maintenance team servicing retail accounts.  Prior to that he was with Ray’s On The River, an iconic Atlanta fine dining restaurant.  In both roles, Gene found that developing a team focused on the customer… anticipating and catering to their specific needs… was both a successful and rewarding long term strategy. 

Gene received his Master’s of Business Administration from Georgia State University.  Previously he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.

 b077dbd2-77fd-4009-8cef-37aea457f78aInvestigator JT Summers was a twenty-year veteran of the Atlanta Police Department.  Assignments included time in the Red Dog Tactical Drug Enforcement Unit, serving as a drug agent of the HIDTA Task Force, and significant experience working in an undercover capacity among various types of criminal organizations. Investigator Summers received years of tactical training and security experience throughout the course of his law enforcement career.  During his tenure with the Atlanta Police Department, he consulted the Federal Bureau of Investigations on Human Trafficking and on Organized Crime Protocols.  Following his police career he spent 15-months in Afghanistan reporting to the Department of Defense while embedded in United States and New Zealand military units on their missions. His investigative and tactical experience was put to use locating and prosecuting Taliban and Al Qaeda bomb-makers.
